Unir varias oficinas o naves.
WIMEX offers all the benefits that wireless broadband communications offer, like: connecting corporate offices or institutions with their branch offices or business associates; promote communications, share information, allow online collaboration with coworkers, increase security and better relations with clients.
It’s our dedicated broadband service for high speed applications that is useful for IT professionals, Gamers with high requirements that download large files, that require high velocity download speeds that only wimex can offer.
In WIMEX we specialize in installation of wireless networks, making it possible to offer Wi-Fi or WiMAX to geographic locations that were previously thought impossible to offer such services. All this is possible to installers of wireless networks, professional people who go above and beyond in the work.
Wi-Fi Installations.
We have noticed that it is not always possible to have a data cable at all locations where it is necessary:
Unite several offices or flagship offices.
Access the internet from any location with a portable laptop or mobile phone.
Get internet access in locations where ADSL telmex or CABLE cablemas does not offer service.
Get wireless internet access to business networks from any place.
For this we have specialized in offering wireless installations for our clients using the latest technologies on the market with WI-FI and WIMAX devices.
What is a wireless link?
A wireless link is the wireless connection between two points using WI-FI technology.
It is the same as having a cable network between two points.
How is a WI-FI link useful?
Imagine what you could do if you could link two points on a network without having the necessity to use a cable:
Links at great distances (100KM).
Create high velocity connections between networks from the same company.
Transport of ADSL Telmex lines or Cable Cablemas and telephone
Advantages of a WI-FI link
Simple communication from point to point: It is possible to communicate between several equipment without the necessity of using a cable to connect the devices, the WI-FI waves are the way the equipment would connect.
Rapid installation and minimum costs: No work, without laying a long cable between the two points, no maintenance, no need to pay rent to a dedicated leased line, with a very short installation time and without interrupting your daily work.
What is a WI-FI zone?
It is the space covered with Wi-Fi waves in which you can connect your device to a network using WI-FI and has access to the rest of networks using cable, including internet ( in the case that the network has access to the internet).
What services can a WI-FI zone give?
Having a WI-FI covered zone is like having a multitude of network cables having from the air in order to connect to the network, to provide service to their users or clients.
Access to a business or company network at any point
Access to the internet without the need for cables.
Connect without the cables to a pc, a laptop, a PDA or mobile telephone with a WI-FI connection.
Hotspot service for your clients.
Security for WI-FI networks?
We provide completely configured installations shielded against attacks:
Encrypted communications.
Protected with a highly secure AES code.
Protection by MAC.
Protection.by user and password.
In WIMEX we extensive experience in installing WI-FI coverage zones.
What is WI-FI?
It is a system for connecting networks and computers without cables.
Wi-Fi is used as a generic term for products incorporating any variant of the IEEE 802.11 wireless technology that enables the creation of wireless networks (Wireless LAN).
When we talk about WI-FI we are referring to one of the wireless communication technologies most used these days.
How does WI-FI work?
The Wi-Fi networks use radio technology called IEEE 802.11a, 802.11b or 802.11g to provide safe, reliable and fast wireless connection. A Wi-Fi network can be used to connect computers to each other, the Internet and wired networks (which use IEEE 802.3 or Ethernet). The Wi-Fi networks operate in unlicensed radio bands 2.4 and 5 GHz, with a data transmission rate of 11 Mbps (802.11b) or 54 Mbps (802.11a) or with products containing the two bands (dual band). They can provide a similar performance to cable networks 10BaseT or Ethernet.
Safety in WI-FI
Wi-Fi networks are completely safe (when configured properly). Depending on the end use, the WI-FI networks can be implemented with different degrees of security.
The use of protocols for data encryption, MAC filtering (so that the network is accessible only to authorized devices), hiding the network name or user authentication are techniques that we implement in all our installations to assure the customer that only authorized devices or people will be able to access the WI-FI network.
WI-FI uses.
A quick definition using Wi-Fi technology would be to establish a connection between two points or more, without being connected through a cable. Several examples of using Wi-Fi technology could be:
Merge multiple offices or branches.
If your offices are located in different branches or buildings, the buildings networks can be connected through a WI-FI link, even if only one the buildings has internet, this can be shared.
Access the internet anywhere with a laptop or mobile phone.
One of the most common uses for Wi-Fi networks is to provide Internet access to portable devices (both laptops and phones) anywhere for users and / or customers. To do this a coverage area that provides this service is created.
Get internet access where ADSL is not available.
At present there are still places where high speed Internet (such as ADSL or cable) is not available due to economic reasons. One possible solution is to “send” the internet via a Wi-Fi link.
All wireless access to the corporate network from anywhere.
Sometimes you need access to the corporate network without the hassle of being tied to a cable network. One solution may be to create a coverage zone for your employees to access the corporate network through PDAs or laptops.
Advantages of WI-FI.
Having a WIF installation done has many advantages:
Speed of installation.
Ease of operation, as well as mobility (the user decides where it works, because now the job is restricted to the wireless coverage area).
Transparency (the network will operate as if using a cable).
Scalability (can enlist hundreds of users in the network itself).
In WIMEX we have extensive experience with Wi-Fi technology.
